I am a discharged bankrupt, which was originally filed in March of 2018. I have since paid my dues and have recently been able to mortgage a home and now have an excellent credit score of 900.
My enquiry is that I am interested in becoming a mortgage broker via a franchise model and would like to understand if my bankruptcy will be notified to the aggregator I am interested in working with, during the process of applying for Authorised Credit Representative with ASIC.
I have called ASIC and they have only provided me with links that dont give me the answer and I am not clever enough to interpret the National Consumer Credit Protection Act.
Appreciate if anyone on this forum can resolve my query.
