    BIll

    Hi,

My goal is to work as a funds manager.

Towards the beginning of this month I started investing in Australian and international shares using a unit trust.  The shares are held for the long term and it is total return I am interested in.  Every month the units will be valued and the results posted to this forum.  My hypothesis is that I can easily outperform the stock market averages over the long term.  My aim is to convince someone that this is true and have them see the value in what I am doing, and hopefully they will be in a position to offer me an opportunity to work in funds management.

This has been done because although I have been very successful managing my own money, I have not been able to convince anyone in the industry to take me on.  It has been suggested that I establish a track record managing money under conditions similar to running a real fund.  So my idea is to do it in real time.

If anyone thinks they may be able to help, feel free to make contact.  The results posted here will be auditable, and obviously would be prepared to show the raw figures if it got to that point.

    Thanks in advance.

    Bill.
